Research and Development
BCLT has understanding and collaboration with many leather and leather related
educational institute in the world. It is being started collaboration research
with European Union and India. In addition, current research financed by the
Ministry of Science and Technology also carried out in the field of leather,
footwear, leather products and environmental pollution.
Major research activities include Pollution Control & Waste Management, Quality
Improvement, Process Control, By-products utilization, Process Development,
Clean & Environmental friendly Technology Industrialization, Industrial survey
etc.
