silicates in leather production in order to reduce contamination in
tannery effluents with the collaboration of Austria , Germany , Belgium , India
and England under funding of
European Union. Researched with Dr. Fasih Uddin Mahtab (Dr. Rashid Professor) at
the Institute of
Appropriate Technology , Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology,
researched with Dr. M. M. .
Huq of Strathclyed University under the BIDS- Strathclyed University link
programme sponsored by the
British Council. Former Project Director, Recovery and Reuse of Chromium from
Tannery wasters financed
by the Ministry of Science and Technology. He is the chairman of leather testing
division of BSTI.
